Subject: Infectious Disease Medicine Interest Group
The purpose of the Infectious Disease Medicine Interest Group (IDIG) is to promote the career exploration and development of medical students who may be interested in practicing infectious disease medicine. Activities to support this objective include interaction with: resident and senior infectious disease clinicians, faculty researchers, medical epidemiologists in local/state health departments, and policy makers involved with infectious disease issues. In addition, we coordinate student-led discussions of current peer-reviewed journal publications. Activities are defined by group participants.
