BATE-PAPO BRASIL
Portuguese Conversational Meetings
Schedule:
Wednesdays at 11:30 AM-12:15 PM at the Cafe in the Brodhead Center. Look for our banner!
BATE-PAPO BRASIL meets for relaxed conversational sessions in which students are encouraged to “stretch” their linguistic abilities. Our guests and students in the Portuguese Language Program engage in in-depth cultural, political, and environmental conversations. BATE-PAPO BRASIL is open and free to the public. Everyone is welcome—beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, native speakers, professors, students, as well as members of the Brazilian community of the Triangle.
This fall, we will host a series of exciting events featuring lectures on Brazilian social, cultural, business, and environmental issues, as well as Brazilian films and cultural and social events celebrating Carnaval, samba, and capoeira. Enjoy Brazilian cuisine at some of our events!
