Subject: Portuguese Conversation and Activities
BATE-PAPO BRASIL Portuguese Conversational Meetings BATE-PAPO BRASIL participants meet for relaxed conversation, in which students are encouraged to "stretch" their linguistic capacities. The group is open and free to the public. Everyone is welcome, beginners, intermediate and advanced levels, native speakers, professors, students, as well as the Brazilian community of the Triangle. We organize events featuring: lectures on Brazilian social, cultural, and environmental issues. We also enjoy Brazilian films, cultural and social events with carnaval, samba, capoeira, cooking classes, and field trips.
