BATE-PAPO BRASIL Portuguese Conversational Meetings Fall 2024: Wednesdays at 1:30- 2 PM (you will receive invitations via email) at the Cafe in the Brodhead Center Spring 2025: Wednesdays at 10:05 - 11:20 AM BATE-PAPO BRASIL meets on Wednesdays at the Café in the Broadhead Center for relaxed conversational sessions, in which students are encouraged to "stretch" their linguistic capacities. Students in the Portuguese Language Program and our guests will be able to further their in-depth cultural, political, and environmental conversations. BATE-PAPO BRASIL is open and free to the public. Everyone is welcome, beginners, intermediate and advanced levels, native speakers, professors, and students, as well as the Brazilian community of the Triangle. This spring we will have a series of great events featuring: lectures on Brazilian social, cultural, business, and environmental issues around the Duke and UNC campuses. Brazilian films, cultural and social events with carnaval, samba, and capoeira on and off-campus. Enjoy Brazilian cuisine at some of our events!
