Subject: Clinical Research Methods and Statistics: a Special Interest Group (SIG) for ABCT

Description: The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT)
includes leading researchers in the study of cognitive-
behavioral interventions, psychiatric disorders, and related
clinical phenomena. High-quality research–whether randomized
controlled trials (RCTs), single-subject designs, epidemiological
studies, or behavioral neuroscience–requires high-quality
methods and statistics. The Clinical Research Methods and
Statistics (CRMS) special interest group (SIG) at ABCT focuses on
clinical methodology, including: statistics (e.g., multilevel
modeling, latent growth curve modeling, strategies for handing
missing data, causal modeling), research design (e.g., quasi-
experimental designs, clinical trials methodologies, adaptive
treatment designs), and quantitative measurement issues (e.g.,
item-response theory, computerized assessment) relevant to
clinical researchers at ABCT.

This listserv is open to current members of ABCT only.
