Sympa will be updated on the evening of August 11th from 6pm to 9pm. During the update you may notice that emails to mailing lists are delayed and the web interface will be unavailable. The upgrade will alter the look of this website, and will now require NetID authentication for Duke users.

Welcome to the Duke University mailing list management system, powered by Sympa. Here you can subscribe to and unsubscribe from lists, manage your existing subscription preferences, view and search archives, and perform other functions relating to mailing lists at Duke University.

Help is available for Sympa using the Sympa Help link in main navigation bar, as well as on most pages via a large "Help" link near the top of the page.

Logging In

Many functions in Sympa require you to identify yourself to the system by logging in, using the "NetID or Email Address" and "Password" fields to the upper left. What you should enter there depends on whether or not you're a Duke user with a NetID:

Duke Users
If you are a member of the Duke University community and you have a NetID, please enter it in the "NetID or Email Address" field, and your NetID password in the "Password" field. If you're not sure if you have a NetID or not, please follow this link for information and assistance.
Non-Duke Users
If you are not a member of the Duke community, please log in to your Sympa account by entering your email address in the "NetID or Email Address" field and your Sympa password in the "Password" field. If you do not have a Sympa account, please click the New User link to create an account with any of your email addresses; you'll then be sent an email containing an initial password which you may then change to something more memorable.
